What I like to write

...approachable but stimulating mainstream fiction - book group novels. I like to incorporate historic settings and/or a suggestion of something fantastic or mystical. The first person viewpoint is preferred because I want internal tensions to provide as much drama as external events. But one or more additional viewpoints usually find their way into the story to give a broader perspective. I like narratives that don't move lineally through time.
